Default Writers Needed for Schoolies.org.au

We are looking for former Schoolies to write a review of the following destinations:
* Gold Coast Schoolies
* Sunshine Coast Schoolies
* North Stradbroke Island Schoolies
* Whitsundays Schoolies
* Magnetic Island Schoolies
* Cairns Schoolies
* Byron Bay Schoolies
* Coffs Harbor Schoolies
* Lorne Schoolies
* Torquay Schoolies
* Victor Harbor Schoolies
* Leavers Week / WA Schoolies

Conditions:
* To qualify, you need to have celebrated Schoolies at the destination that you write about.
* The article may be published in part or full, as part of the destination guide (must never have been or be published elsewhere online).
* We will only use your first name, no need to give your full name.

How to Submit Articles:
* Email your article (don't post it here), to: dominic dot mapstone at gmail dot com

What to Write:
* 300 to 500 words of well thought out commentary (can be longer if you structure it well).
* What was it like celebrating schoolies there?
* What are the local attractions, schoolies hotspots or highlights?
* Any other information to profile the destination for future schoolies consideration.
* You also need to let us know the dates you celebrated Schoolies.

This is in preparation for school going back, as this year's seniors will be making plans for Schoolies.

The Byron Bay Schoolies page has been updated: http://accommodation.schoolies.org.a...-schoolies.htm

One style of reviewing a destination, very well done. Use any form you want for submissions, story telling is great too.

Thanks for all the contributions so far. Still a few destinations need new content.

If you were thinking of sending something in but didn't get around to it - now would be good slacker.

It's up to you, funny stuff is fine but think from the perspective of people who want to know stuff about leavers, people going this year. Online, people will click away quickly if they don't think the info is there or it's just some prat rambling on. Anyway, just see what you come up with - I don't want an essay! just write to the audience.

The byron one is only one style, but a great example of what people looking for info on byron bay schoolies will re-read three times and just soak up.

Definitions of prat on the Web:

buttocks: the fleshy part of the human body that you sit on; "he deserves a good kick in the butt"; "are you going to sit on your fanny and do nothing?"

yeah ill give it a go, and email you what i come up with. if you dont get it in a week, i wasnt able to come up with anything and a ran away and cried

cool?

ive been pretty busy man and havent really had the time to sit down and write a review. the leavers class can wait. its a known fact that most of the year 12's this year in WA are the worst yet. year 12's in 2004 were the class of all classes.

don't wanna be an american idiot, much rather be an australian dickhead
