In the process of updating the National Schoolies Week site for 2005 we are asking the age old question... when is schoolies week?

To answer the question simply - Schoolies is traditionally celebrated in each state starting the weekend after year 12 graduation of local students.

So if you are going to the Gold Coast for Schoolies, the big party starts the weekend that Queensland students graduate and goes for a week.

There has been some question of the whole week 1,2,3,4 - that some booking agents promote.

well officially in queensland school finishes the 18th of november 2005 so schoolies is 19th-26th of november.. at least thats when im doing and im a 2005 schoolie.

Anyone got dates for other states, I'm getting a few emails and phone calls asking.

Forget the week 1,2,3,4 crap, I'm after the dates for the graduate class of the destination state.

Alot of my friends from NSW r going 26 Nov - 3rd Dec?!? 4 party week

schoolies 2005 starts 19th November i believe.
in victoria, final exams are 19th, like LOTE and ****, although most people finish about the 11th (me!). We're headin to lorne about the 15th Nov, stayin to about the end of november or start of december, depending on how hard your all gonna party.

19th November - 18th December
week1: 19-26
week2: 26-3 or 27-4
week3: 3-10 or 4-11
week4: 10-7 or 11-18
