Hey all, welcome back from Schoolies Week.
It's time for the annual update of the Schoolies Survival Guide for next year's grad class. So please: 1. Reflect on your experience at Schoolies 2. Re-read the guide and 3. Provide feedback on how it can be improved for 2011 Schoolies. Either post in this thread or email me: dominic dot mapstone at gmail dot com Thanks to all the schoolies who have gone before us and taken the time to contribute to this site and making it so good. Plenty of room to improve though, so please do your bit and contribute for the schoolies in year's to come. Last edited by Dominic; 13-04-2011 at 02:19 PM. |

Well, I went to Airlie Beach for Schoolies Week and it was the sickest week of my life
![]() I was expecting it to be way more looser and more dangerous but it wasn't. There weren't so many fights because the police had us all under control haha. [Back Up Plan] - Always keep your I.D lanyard around your neck but never keep all of your money or the other dance party tickets in it because people tend to try and rip it off when you're in the crowds!

Always make sure u stick with at least one person you trust.
It's worthwhile to make sure at least one member of your group has first aid training and one or more carry cellphones with them. If you lose your i.d tag/braclet whatever, get it replaced as soon as possible. Make sure the D.D is the ONLY one with car keys. Most Importantly HAVE FUN |

This update is going on at the moment (online and offline), as mentioned, if you can help out either email me directly or reply here.
The guide has been developed by and added to by former schoolies year over year for more than several years... please help out for the following year's schoolies. |
