Default Is it Schoolies a good time for non-leavers?

Hey you guys! Here's Hugo. I'm from Brazil and I'll be visiting Australia in a few days, I was checking out some YT videos on Gold Coast and I saw all those Schoolies videos with this whole bunch of kids having what seems to be a great time!

Now I have a question: Should I rearrange my schedule to get to Gold Coast in time for Schoolies'08? Keep in mind that I'm a little older (23). Am I allowed to show up at those parties? Does the rest of the ppl who are not school leavers go to these parties?

Great vacation for y'all!
xoxo Hugo!

A Schoolies only party area is fenced off on the beach at the Gold Coast. The schoolies only zone is restricted to registered members and people over 18 are excluded.

The Gold Coast is still open, but the schoolies party is not for you.

dont shaft him like that...the schoolies party on the beach is a very small part, most of the people dont even go to them, n they are only there because queensland kids are still 17 when they finish school...

The clubs are still flowing, n from my experience people in there mid 20's still go out, they dont interfear with schoolies celebrations but join in, some of the coolest people i met when i was up there were german tourists SICK!!! i say come down everyone will love ya!
