Default Feedback sought by VIC Schoolies organisers

I got this on email, if it applies to you, give feedback if you want:

2006 Schoolies Week Reference & Focus Group

If you went to Schoolies last year or are planning to go this year, we want
to hear from you!

Thanks to your feedback in 2005, youthcentral produced a cracker Schoolies
website, but we've got big plans for 2006.

If you did Schoolies last year, Consumer Affairs Victoria would love to get
your responses to the 7 Accomodation questions attached.
Please return them to Nigel Preston at youthwebsite@dvc.vic.gov.au by July
1, 2006.

This year, we are planning to form two groups - one for a once-off focus
group and another for an ongoing role.

Please note that participants may be involved in both groups.

1. Focus Group:

We need 10 to 15 young people to join a Focus Group in Spring St,
Melbourne.

The session will go for 1.5 hrs and will be held during the June school and
Uni holidays.
Exact date TBA.

This will provide our team with invaluable feedback around some key changes
we are proposing to the Schoolies website.
Participants in this group will receive a $30 Myer Gift Card!

2. Ongoing Team:

1. To give feedback on the content and designs for the schoolies website on
youthcentral

2. Offered the first opportunity to participate in paid sessions of User
Testing for the new developments of the schoolies site on youthcentral

3. Advise the schoolies week Steering Committee, on aspects of promotion,
activities and the schoolies experience.

4. Assist in the evaluation of how the schoolies projects and programs went
this year and feed into the planning for 2007 schoolies week activities

5. Contribute to the preparation of two presentations to the schoolies
Government Steering Committee on both the schoolies website on
youthcentral, how schoolies 2006 went in Victoria and recommendations for
next year.

If you’re interested in being part of either of these Schoolies Week
Reference or Focus Groups, email Nigel Preston at
youthwebsite@dvc.vic.gov.au

Youthcentral Schoolies Week Accommodation Questions:
  • What sort of accommodation did you arrange?

  • How did you organise your accommodation?

  • How much was the rental? Did you get what you paid for?

  • Were there any problems with either booking your accommodation and staying in the house, flat, B&B, caravan park or hotel?

  • Did you pay a bond and if so, were there any problems having it returned?

  • If you were really satisfied with your accommodation, can you say what worked with your accommodation?

  • Do you have any advice or tips for 2006 Schoolies regarding their accommodation?
