Port Macquarie 2006

hey there,

ive seen a few posts from people wondering if anyone is goin to port mac 4 skoolies in 2006 so i thort id start a thread so we can all orgaise to hook up any party on together, its gunna go off!!

so where are people staying??

me and my mates are booking our accomodation through port macquarie holidays who have arranged skoolies accomodation and activities (spaghettie wrestling, paintballing, skoolies niteclub cruise etc.) its gunna be awsome!!

we were guna just try and rent a house but theres 7-8 of us so far we still avnt askd every1 wewant 2. i kno hey we gotta mae it awsome just 2 prove em wrong!! lol. im so up 4 beach parties! n just getn drunk in general really hahaha. so where r u guys from?

we've found out the hard way that renting houses really wont work, weve been tryin to do that for fckin ages but theyre all whingin and **** and wont let ppl under 25 stay there and most places only hav room for 6ppl or sumthin neway. were now lookin really closely at goin to this place, it looks pretty good and reasonably priced.... http://www.beachcomberresort.com.au/resort.htm

i kno theyre barstards! that place seems pretty kool. im so pumpd for skoolies though i cant wait! me and my mates are gunna have a game 4 the whole week and u get points 4 different thing like nudie runs and winning drinking games n stuff. u also get points 4 getting sumone to do a nudie run 4 ya, wanna help me win?? lol there is also ones at the end of the week 4 who drinks the most and im so proud, theyve got bets on me to win lol. we're from parkes

anyway, port macquarie seems good, but it looks like port stephens has much better places to stay, theres so much more houses there that will let u stay there and awesome beaches and its even cheaper, bonus! so yeh, were not sure where we'll go yet, but itll probly be one of the two ports. all the damn resorts at port macquarie hav like $4000 bonds and ****, and we'd rather stay in a house neway, so who knows where we'll end up..

yeh ive been through port stephans befor and it looks pretty kool but i think we r still gunna go to port mac we were goin to go even when we thought no one was lol we get drunk enuf and do stupid enuf things that we dont need anyone else to help

Hey Guys,

A group of ppl from my year are also planning on port mac, and yeah it is pretty hard trying to find someplace to stay, especially when we gotta book soon, before it's booked out! the pressure!!!! I'm kinda the organiser of schoolies for our year and we've got about 30 people who are on the 'Definite" list, lol. so it should be fun. Maybe we'll see you guys there? we'll be up there from around the 24th of Nov - 1st Dec or something like that.

yeh im the organiser to which i dont mind except the stupid people at port mac holidays wo0nt hurry up and send me the info i need yet they keep telling me that i should book soon if i want the cabins that i asked for.. like we are sending them $200 each 4 reservations if i dont even kno wat we are actually paying for! lol.

yeh most places wont even let people who are 18 book and if they do they get pissed if there are under 18s staying there.

we are goin up at the start of december i think it is.

it sounds like there are a fair few goin so it should be kool.

hay every1 yer my whole group of m8s is planning on heading to port where actually already almost officially bookt !! weve been lookin to find a place for the last coupple of months and have been turned down or it has been 2 expensive..so we thought wed look at some caravan parks in the area we found that the sundowner does the official schoolies activities but my m8s are all lazy and we just wanna do our own thing so where staying at another place 5 minutes out of town coz where booking for 12 it wrked out quite cheap so we decided to stay for 2 weeks just to chill...ive also got another group of m8s (9 of em) and possibly another 5 girls might be goin up lol sooo yer gunna b a big group but hope yas all manage to get accomodation so i can see yas up there and dont worry i already plan on passing out on the beach most nights up there after the killer parties !!

so what is everyones essential item they are taking to schoolies? besides the obvious answer alcohol!!

mine would have to be the nipple ball! lol its a bouncy ball with spiky things that resemble nipples on it hence the name nipple ball. it provides hours of entertainment as proved by my entire year on camps, at school and between exams lol.

second to that would have to be an all time fav, my flashing shot glass. weve also shared many a good times together lol

hey i was just on another forum about port macquarie for schoolies n everyone was saying that it wouldnt be that good i might be going up but dont know. people been saying that theres barely anything there for schoolies what does everyone else think bout this?

lol true but its cool but the nipples kinda hurt when it gets thrown at you hahaha.

so many random things we can do. one of my mates use to live there and he swears there is a nudist beach (not so sure there is but anyway) and he keeps trying to makes us go there lol but were dickheads so we'll probley go hahaha

we are gunna go mini golfing (which i suck at majorly and i chuck a **** coz i suck -always good 4 a laugh)

and we are goin to go have surfing lesson just coz its gunna be funny as **** coz none of us can surf (beaches arnt all that great in the middle of nsw lol)

yeh but thats why we have to go and make it rock just to prove them wrong so the more people that go the better is goin to be!

there are schoolies activities up there if u book through port maquarie holidays, if not no doubt we will all be able to meet up and party on anyway.

**** im annoyed, everytime i ring them up the details change, the dates changed..the price has gone up by almost $100 and all my mates are getting the ****s because i give them the info im told and its always changing...
i feel like driving to port just the slap the ****s around...
i dont know if we'll go up there now or if we'll go anywhere
and i have to wait for some brochure to be mailed to me before i find out what the ****s going on. They keep telling they are getting put onto the schoolies website and to book through there but its been one and a half months since i was first told that and they still arent on there...

come to port stephens, theres heaps of houses around and this year the nelson bay rsl are organising a schoolies week with niteclub, parties, (inc themed parties) and all kinds of activities and events for us... theres already heaps of ppl goin up from round the 25th november for the week... hope to see u there
