I'M SEEING u2 LIVE! (unfortunatley in Adelaide)

On Tuesday, March 28 at 7:15pm at AAMI stadium in Adelaide, i shall be seeing one of the greatest bands of all time live during their Vertigo tour of Australia.
Due to that fact that about half the bands that come to Australia decide to skip Perth, i've been forced to buy tickets for the Adelaide concert. So i'm either just gonna fly to Adelaide or i might go on a hurter road trip with the mates im going with.

Anyone else going to any of their Australian shows? Sydney? Melbourne?

Ok well just thought that going to see u2 deserved a thread to itself.
oh i got my Mudvayne ticket yesterday too. **** YEAH.

haha good on u! they were bloody awesome when i saw them in dublin this year! i'm going to see them again!!! dad got us tickets for sydney so this time i'll be a pro! so excited!

I'm not going, I like, U2, but not that much...

They're doing their melbourne gig at telstra dome, and the 70,000 tickets sold out in like, 3 hours I think? sydneys sold out even quicker.. You usually here about other venus like, rod laver arena and all that selling out quick, but they are heaps smaller... sold old way quick for so many tickets..
heard yesterday they may do another show here, and they're going to announce it tomorrow..

i wonder how ebays looking for tickets haha

looks like i'll be at both sydney gigs! dad bought more tickets just incase i was interested in going twice... OF COURSE I AM! i dont have all their cd's/dvd's/books etc for nothing! omg i am seriously the biggest U2 fan u'll ever meet! LOL

Cause one of the guys I'm going with is from Perth, it will cost him a fortune to get over here and stay in Melbourne due to the Commonwealth Games. So we may be looking to sell tickets, and fly to Adelaide for there show instead if we can get tickets.

stupid commonweath games lol... every time im in the city, all i see is tourist ppl taking photos, and people sitting across from flinders near the church in like, team colours... saw heaps of people from canada the other week lol.

yeah its costing me around $500 altogether.
$100 for the ticket, and about $200 perth to adelaide and about the same on the way back. ****, i'd only do this for u2. maybe KISS coz ive already seen them live.
