Hi everyone!
this is anna, i share this account with my friend meggy and yes, we're both american.

So why are we on a schoolies forum when this is an australian thing?

well... I (anna) am sort of emamoured with australia and I have like heaps of aussie friends, who told me about this thing called schoolies
so I go "OH WOW, THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN... why don't americans get to do that???"
and then I go "HEY!! WHY CAN'T WE!?"
so I call up my friend meggy like "yo meggy, i've got this great idea, you know what schoolies is?"
and she's like "No..."
and i tell her and she goes "OH BRUH WE SHOULD DO THAT!"
and i'm like "I KNOW RIGHT!"
so we coined the term "amoolies": american schoolies
so we've begun planning it... unfortunately, we can't actually travel to a schoolies destination because we're not made of money, so we're settling for a cheap hotel in sunset beach, and we're currently facing the issue of meggy's parents not wanting to let her go, which would be tragic. but we're going to make this happen because we're graduating and we want to do something epic.

well, that's about it. anything we should know? any enduring schoolies traditions we should know about?
(don't try to pull any tricksy crap on us though, no "you have to box a kangaroo as a rite of passage" because we're much too smart for that )
