Default convincing friends to go to schoolies.

is there any way to convince your friends to come to schoolies?
seriously none of mine want to go argh its so annoying.
and the only one that wants to go her parents won't actually let her.
any tips on convincing parents to let her go to schoolies?

hi i am in the same boat.

what me and my friends decided is that we wouldnt go to GC. that make your rents so much happier when they know that your not going to the GC. maybe find somewhere else to go. we're off to airlie beach and from all the reports its fun with stacks of ppl and the rents are all good about.

i hope this has helped

My theory would be not to go and your friends Parents should have booked that week in Asia Package Months Ago or found some other Non Schoolies based alternative for her.
If I was a parent of a school leaver I would in the absence of ANY P&O schoolies cruises I would send my kid off to Singapore

Anna here.
sort of in the same boat, meggy's parents don't want to let her go. for both parents and friends I suggest asking and asking until they get so annoyed they have to say yes!
but for parents, you have to make a logical argument. be all like "I'm a responsible person now, i'm practically an adult. You trust me, don't you? this will be a great way for me to establish my independence *cross fingers* you know I won't drink or do drugs, i'm smarter than that!"

If Youre Birthday Falls Prior to October 1992 You Might Be able to Convince The Friends and Parents who might pay for them to go consider a Contiki Asia Tour as an alternative or something other than the Gold Coast.Cairns is another option often overlooked or have any of you considered Vanuatu or Penang or Phuket while the dollar is pretty good.Singapore is another option I would recommend. If anyone wants to know more I have a whole load of information and brochures that can be sent out.
