schoolies or leavers??

this is a debate that we had last year, alot of people in the west here know it as leavers week, and we are of course leavers...but over east its known as schoolies. not that it makes any diference but just wondering, what do you rekon it should be...

i reckon its cool that WA has their own name for it. To me, its makes more sense coz you are a school 'leaver'. but i guess when you grow up over east and you get used to the name schoolie, you'd think Leavers sounds weird.
Its not a very good debate because Leavers and Schoolies are quite different. Leavers has no real organised stuff, where schoolies is massive and has alot of organised activities.

schoolies sounds better.
leavers makes more sense.
