just a random post tell you all that i found the opening sequence in miss congeniality really amusing and profound for some reason.
Were she (as a little kid) takes out the bullies then tryies to talk to the guy she saves and he doesn't get it at all

yeah im with dom there, i love the godfather ay.
my other one would have to be the old star wars movies when its hell quiet at the start and then all of a sudden the theme song comes on. man i love that ****, hate the new ones. friggn kids movies ay. jokes.

also up there is the monologue from the start of the film Trainspotting,
"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a ****ing big television ..."
Not really an opening, but where the monkey uses the bone as a club the first time in 2001, i love that.
