Some school leavers' parents have failed to listen to police about alcohol bans and supplied their kids with booze for schoolies (http://www.schoolies.org.au/) celebrations this week.
Peel traffic police issued 15 liquor infringements to schoolies as they passed through a targeted traffic stop on Old Coast Road in Lake Clifton yesterday afternoon.
"We issued 15 liquor infringements for leavers and three minor cannabis infringements during the campaign," Sergeant White said. He said about 200 school leavers' cars were stopped in the campaign and a number of traffic infringements, court summons and compliance notices were also given out.
