Official Events for 2007 Sunshine Coast Schoolies (Week 1)?

Hey,

Just wondering when a list of "official events" for Schoolies on the Sunshine Coast will be available (for Week 1: 17th til 24th of Nov)?

There's currently one for 2006 on the website ( http://accommodation.schoolies.org.au/sunshine-coast-schoolies.htm ), so I'm hoping that one for 2007 will be out soon!

i think they cancelled all the activities, how bull**** is that? 2 weeks before the actual event :(

This year 5 activities endorsed but not run by council (as was the case last year) will go ahead. The buses will go ahead this year too.

Schoolies is not cancelled.

The mayor said Schoolies activities are still on and will be much the same as last year.

The event schedule is not being released until school is out. As soon as it is released, it will be posted on the page mentioned above and I'll post in this thread that the details are there.

I hope the event schedule comes out by the time we all leave this Saturday.

Although by the sounds of things it will be out by this Friday/Saturday, because school officially finishes Friday. Hmm...

How did you find out about these events?

I'm a schoolies mum, so a couple of months ago rang the council and they said they would send me a list of what was on there is also going to be free buses running every 20 mins have a great time.:facesjump

As mentioned, pretty similar to last year.
