Guessing OP scores....

I guess this is one for the queenslanders. At the moment i'm on june/july holidays having the time of my life until i have to start term 3 arghhhhh. I'm just wondering how everyone is going in their subjects and what OP they are expecting to get. I've tried to compare my current results with past ppl and it's seems I'll get around the 6, 7 or 8 mark [ At the moment, i do 6 subjects, and i'm getting Four A's One B and One C] :givemebee

im hoping for under an OP 5 (remember ur worst subject doesnt count)

I got a 10, i got:
English - A
HPE - B+
Modern history - C-
Biol - C-
Legal - B+
Maths A - B

Don't bother tyring to guess, not worth the hassle or the let down.

I got an OP8 with the following:


Maths = VHA, First in class
English = HA, First in class
Physics = HA, First in class
Legal = HA, Second in class
PE = SA, First in class

And a B on the QCS test. Does anyone think I should contest my OP?

That sounds about right. Doesn't matter if you came first or second in class - it's the marks and the class's weighting with the QCS test.

If it gets you into the course you want don't worry. If it doesn't, get into another course and get good marks in first year then transfer to your course of choice based on your GPA (grade point average) at uni.

I know this is a fairly old thread, but i am new here, so lets give this a try. I am currently in grade 12 andd i really want to enter medicine at UQ. Argh i know how convoluted the OP system is and there isnt really any guessing to be done, but anyone wanna give it a shot.

I am on:

Maths B - VHA (Second maybe tied for First, probably a 6 or 7)
Maths C- HA (B+, so maybe a HA 7 or 8, there are only 4 in the class and i am tied for first)
Chemistry - HA - 7 or 8, second in class
English - HA - 4 or 5, err maybe 7th in class
Physics - HA - 6 or 7, second in class
Biology - VHA -6 or 7, tied for first in class
