In WA people are all heading to Rottnest Island, Dunsborough, Bussleton and like my mates n I, just out of Margret River.

as any one going to phillip island for schoolies and r there ne party happening there?

a few people from my school r headin down to phillip island and ive heard of some girls i know from another school that r going down. i hav no idea wat dates and stuff they're all going but im guessing the same time all thes rest of the people r going away

At phillip island they have nothing for schoolies down there, but if you have already booked i would suggest you meet as many ppl as you can, there were alot of p's platers down there last year. If your 18, its better they have a couple of pubs, and 2 night clubs. good luck jetski :beer:

ive already had my schoolies last year, went to byron bay last year (i was only 17 which kinda sucked but im 18 now). yeh i wouldnt suggest to go to phillip island for schoolies. i live bout 45 mins from phillip island, isnt really a hot destination for schoolies. good surfing and all that. i would rather go back to the gold coast if i could go again (ill be at uni still when schoolies is on :( ) so that sucks. but you go and enjoy urself at lorne jetski, friends of mine went to lorne last year and had a blast

We can hardly find any accom., and this may be it.. :( Serious help is needed...

sammy wammy, i live 10 minutes away from mornington, its NOT a good place for schoolies. the only place in victoria that is decent for schoolies is lorne by far or maybe even torquay. id keep looking elsewhere for accommodation because you will have a crap schoolies if u go to mornington. its not a ****hole, its really nice in summer down there but its not a schoolies destination

Some people arent looking for a massive piss-up for schoolies though.
If you looking for just a quiet relaxing place, it'd be fine i reakon. But if your looking for wild drunken parties, Gold coat, Byron Bay, and probably Lorne are the places to go

I think we've decided on Rye, this really cool place. It's hard because there are 10 of us :( So much complaints, and I'm the one bloody doing ALL the work.. Most people havent even looked at ANYTHING! Others have printed off places from the net, (like, 2 or 3 places) without even emailing them and enquiring... I sent off emails to like, 40 places, and yeah.. I get so frustrated sometimes (as you can probably tell).

I have sent over 200 emails to places.
lorne, torquay, angelsea, rye everwhere. but not phillip island cause thats jsut ****.
but we have finally found a place in sorrento.
its hard cause we have 12 and a price limit.
but this place is awesome. got a really nice deck and a tennis court and its really modern. and 2 min walk to back beach and 10 minute walk to front.
i don't care that its sorrento. im just happy that i have somewhere.
and really there isn't a "****" place for schoolies.
cause if you are with your mates and you are drunk. you wouldn't really know where you are. you make your own fun. and there are bound to be some other schoolies where-ever you go
i have found just being completely honest witht he owners works best. they like that

is anyone else going to Victor Harbor? me and like heaps of mates are heading there, basically coz its close to where we live... it'd be cool to meet up with other people going there!! xoxox

What about Rye? I have heard from some people that this place is pretty good for a relaxing type Schoolies.

I am not of the schoolies age anymore or a parent of someone who happens to be part of that final year of school stuff but has anybody considered places such as Vanuatu,New Caledonia,Fiji or New Zealand as partying places for your schoolies week celebrations.All are good value for money and something different from what your mates will do on the Gold Coast,Noosa or for that matter Bali or Phuket.I would also suggest for those of us who can afford it Hong Kong.Lots to see and Do and great shopping not to mention excellent value for money and very safe
