Being Underage..

Ok so i'll be 17 when/if i go to schoolies...
does anyone know how easy/hard getting alcohol will be? (i suppose my best bet would be to byo)...but i spose my main fear is rocking up there and not being able to get into all the action (no innuendo intended :D ).

So yeah...anyone got any ideas as to what 17yo's can or cannot do?

well first of all welcome to the forums...

and im assuming you are/will be going to surfers...

you wont be able to go to clubs, and you wont be able to drink on the street (big fines from the cops), and unless you fluke it and they (bottleo) dont check ids, you cant buy any...

its really the same as what 17yos can and cannot do most of the time...

for more party activities it is better for underagers to go the first week of schoolies, as there are plenty of beach parties etc (again if you are going to surfers), but even if you dont you will have plenty of fun, as there are a lot of others in the same situation as you, and its only as fun as what you make it...

but no doubt if you do go you will have a blast.
