Ha that reminds me I've met the Broncos cheer leading teams and the coach! Last game I went to (years ago) I brought a camera to get a photo with the cheer leaders, but they have a few teams one or more hot 18 - 25 type age teams and one young team something like 15 to 17. The week I brought my camera was the litten's so I didn't bother. So jibbed.

Haha! That's funny... I actually did meet the lead singer of The Killers! He walked past me and my cousin but there was a fence thing between us! Umm... who else have I met? Well I've met Chad Fletcher, Andrew McDougall and Ashley Sampi of the Eagles at work. I met Hotdogs from BB on Thursday at Floreat Forum. I got hugged by the black guy of The Prodigy at Oxegen. Met Rove once when he was interviewing pple on the streets. Met Adam Gilchrist and didn't know who he was! Sorrry Adam! Umm... Selwyn! Haha! Back when pple liked him I was on the same plane as him and Scandlous! Remember them! Haha! Totally starstruck! Umm... well thats all I can remember at the moment... there maybe more but I think I've met a few cool pple in my time! :iconcur: Hehe!

yeah! it was so strange meeting them in the flesh. it was so surreal! my cousin used to go to mt temple but i've never been there myself. here's a couple of pics from the croke park gig i went to in june if u wanna check them out. front row! oh yeah!

Ben-Busltn/Dunsbrgh-2004
08-08-2005, 01:56 AM
**** you're lucky. thats so ****ing awesome i wouldve paid so much to be there. closest i have to compare to that is that i was about 4 rows from the front at the KISS concert, but i never got to meet them. **** yeah.

Irish Cream 05
08-08-2005, 02:15 AM
aww! well u've got ur whole life ahead of you. just any chance u get to see a band live etc. take it! i took the risk and got tickets for the croke park gig without even organising flights or anything! and it all worked out and i got to meet them at their hotel! 4th row at kiss... thats pretty good! and by the way... it took lining up at 10am till 9pm till the band actually came on to be at the front :p Bloody worth it tho!!

Ben-Busltn/Dunsbrgh-2004
08-08-2005, 02:26 AM
yeah **** yeah, its almost a once in a life opportunity coz i think KISS are near their end.
10am-9pm? man, thats commitment to them. i like it.

Irish Cream 05
08-08-2005, 02:35 AM
yeah u are lucky. i wish i had gone. its unlikely they'll ever come back. my legs were soooo sore after the show! and i had to walk to my cousins from the stadium after, but i was on such a high from the concert it didnt matter. oh and did i tell u i had to line up by myself? i lost my cousins on the way there and had to line up on my own! :( boring! but all the fans are friendly so i made friends with this english guy and his mates and hung round with them the whole time! but lining up was great! we got to hear the sound check and everything and there were heaps of funny pple starting chants and stuff.

below: the line

Woody

Half the fun is lining up, like at any big event. Cricket, footy, you name it. The chants and what-not are always good fun!

yeah, davo and me go way back... well i met him when i was 7 (i think)... dad's a professor, david attenborough gave a lecture at the uni of wa (where he was working at the time) and i got to go... this was just after his 'the private life of plants' series, and just before his birds of paradise thing, which was what we discussed (albiet briefly... ever seen a 7-year-old try to hold a conversation with his parent's idol?)

as for impersonating him, thats got me out of so many theatre-sports induced holes i owe him my full colours (pending)... he really made documentaries his own...

If anyone has Foxtel/Austar, and seen the ads for Australias Next Top Model (series 2)
Im friends with the Lara (18 Perth), we went to primary school together, really top chick and down to earth.

And the other week i met and got pictures with Scotlands #1 DJ, Scott Brown. And ive also met DJ's Dougal and Hixxy, briefly spoke with MC Storm as well.

Only the ravers on this board would know who them people were lol.

Or did you mean involved and are just really bad at spelling?
