2005 will be my [#] Schoolies

OK, so who has been before and how many times will it be in 2005?

I had my Schoolies in 1993, and have been at Gold Coast Schoolies as a volunteer / worker since 1994.

itll be my 2nd schoolies, ill be 18 so i should have some more fun!

i dont think il be going coz il be going overseas but if i was to go it would be my 3rd haha :D id go til i was 30 haha :p *hint sarcasm for those who dont know im joking*

if i do go this year it'll be my 4th schoolies. chances are i probably wont though, looking at just goin on some cruise instead

You see, if we "freeze" schoolies, I can have all my fun on the gold coast, then go across to airlee (i think, isnt it?) beach and visit you!...


Maybe we can try our best to make it like in that movie Groundhog day, Just instead of repeating the day, repeat the week! Fun for all involved!:D

It sucks, our principal is a jackass, wont let us get what we want. we want our name and "2005" across the back, but he wont let us.... what a jerk!

Our jumpers are cool this year I reckon... I helped design them so yeah haha

We have our jumper with the names on the back, but instead of alphabetic order we have it in hg order like, 12A-12J, with the hg teacher at the bottom, because at our school, the homegroups stay the same from year 7-12, and usually your teacher stays the same too. On the top of it we have this blank space so you can go and personalize it yourself in an imbrodary shop or whatever.. and the front bit has our logo thing but its hard to explain.. Looks so groovy tho, and so different to the past years.. theirs have all been so crappy.. And our jersey is pretty much the same with the space and that too.. I should post pictures after we get em.. I'm so proud of them haha :D:D

our jersey's are canteberry how ever u spell it they are pretty hot we got like our school name embroidered on the collar our names and o5 on the back they are gonna be awesome

Yeah our schoolies Jersey's r cool.. Had ours since last yr though.. the have nicknames on the back n real name embroidered on the front real small though.. LoL Mad fights about the design when we were making them but HaHaH Stupid school.. :p

oh man when we were designing our leavers jumpers, MAN there was beef, half the class wanted one thing and the other half wanted another. but ofcourse the other half got their choice, being the losers and more liked students. ****. :dancefool

My school has crap looking jerseys, and we aren't getting them until term 3 coz our principals a dickhead.

We have one of the best debaters in Australia as our female captain, and she's successfully argued against every reson he had, but we still don't get them. So, when I can be bothered I'm gonna print about 100 sheets of paper that say 05 on them, with room for people to write in their name, and we'll all stick them on our shirts/jumpers.

We gout our school jumpers about two months ago now, and I'm sitting and waiting for a jumper with "Woody" to pop up... well, it never came:mad:.

I wasnt allowed to have Woody, so I had to have my first name... so for the first week, out of protest, i didnt wear the jumper, and ever since, ive been wearing it around, but only with a bit of masking tape with "Woody" written on it, taped over my "real" name :p

i think that if say ur a yr 11 then u should wait till its ur turn and not b a tag along.. but its not so bad if ur older that dosnt really matter...

Well, I definitely agree with the spelling does not equal serious. Shame on anyone that thought that.
Actually, toolies are people who go up there to mess up other peoples fun. I'm not sure if you can technically be a toolie if it's the year you leave school, but you aren't necessarily a toolie if you go a 2nd, 3rd, etc. time.

First schoolies I went on was Byron in 2002, had a blast, so we went back in 2003.
By 2004 the script was a lot different and I couldn't go.
Heading up to Surfers for more of a vaction this year, just happens to be near schoolies time which is convenient more than anything.
Stopping in at byron on the way up to buy a juice though :facesjump

I remember in 2002 the amount of drink involved, me and a mate drank till 4 or 5 in the morning, slept till 4 or 5 in the arvo, and did it for 7 days straight, 2003 was a bit less and I doubt i ahve the stamina to do it anymore, doesn't mean I wont be trying though, family there or no family there.

I'm not going as a schoolie (at age 21 thats kinda creepy) but places like the Gold Coast and Byron are beautiful places with or without a massive party. :beer:

is their even anything going on in the pubs at victor. They would be stacked and i coulnt be stuffed waiting to get in. (im underage anyways) i'd rather just get paro at the caravan park and maybe walk in the town if i could.

By the way this is my first schoolies and i dont plan to head to victor next year but i might change my mind and how busy i am next year, and if my mates want to go..

Haven't been yet, hope the idiots who organised the last schoolies aren't doing it again....telling us who didn't graduate to stay away....if everything goes good this year I might go down and use it as my 'release'. Or there's always next year
