Hey i was wondering, wats the dress code like at these pubs n clubs...? (Byron + goldie)
are we expected to wear jeans n stuff even tho itll be like sweltering

cos if so, i gotta pack stuff that i wouldnt hav normally

Gold Coast is more lax than Brisbane, if you are female there is no code (as per usual). But I'd go by what looks good - chicks dig it :p

Probably about 5 years ago, one of my friends who lives at the goldie took me out. She has worked in a few of the clubs and knows everyone. No matter what club we walked into, the hottest girls there knew her and would come over to say hello and drink / dance with us. I'm not into astrology but for the sake of calibration... my plannets were alligned that night.

Signs to indicate your plannets are alligned...
The hottest girls in the club buy your drinks.
The two who are models take you onto the dance floor and dirty dance with you.
They all hug and kiss you hello and goodbye.
...go to the next club.
As soon as we walk in the hottest girls in the club come over and say hello and invite you to sit at their table.
...Rinse and repeat...
You don't pay cover at any of the clubs.

That was one of the coolest nights. Beth, god bless you for being my friend.

And yes I did seriously contemplate moving to the gold coast.

I don't think this club still exists, but the best club that night was Bensons (half way down orchard ave on the left).
