I went to school is Queensland but now live in NSW. HSC - seems like you lot have it pretty tough down here compared to what we did in QLD I think I had it easy...

Who is doing hsc - it's pretty soon isn't it?

HSC Starts Oct. 18 Monday where I believe that all of the HSC kids will do English. My exams are as follows:

Oct 18, English Standard (Paper 1)

Oct 20, English Standard (Paper 2)

Oct 25, 2 Unit Maths

Oct 27, 3 Unit Maths

Oct 29, (SDD) Software Design and Development

Nov 1, Information Process and Technology

Nov 3, Physics

While thats my last exam, HSC isn't officially over til Nov 12. If you wish to know more about the HSC, this link is useful: http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/events/

I enjoy yet hate the fact my exams are early! Hehe!

Also.. I heard reports of teenagers killing themselves because of the stress from HSC so I say this:
Anyone want to kill themselves because of the HSC, just dont do it. Its not worth worrying about the UAI result, your whole lifetime of experiences (including old age) is ahead of you, thats worth worrying about. Just study your best and do your best. My opinion anyway. :)

So anyone else here from Qld who reckons that Qcs writing task was completely retarded? I was not expecting the task to be "What matters" especially when the last ones were on stuff like light, space, work and faces. Damn :banghead:

Thats the point , to give you a curve ball and see how you deal. And yes the written task sucks balls and not in a good way.

Anyway, only us poor barstards that have to work weekends will be left here

thanks star, i thought the same, engalish, business and ipm all seemed pretty easy (i shouldn't talk too soon though), accounting was pretty straight forward with a few tricky bits, and methods, well, i didnt study anywhere near enough so i found it real hard

I'm VCE too.

English
Futher maths
Legal studies
Business management
Physics

They were all good 'cept ****en physics. God I HATED my physics teacher, then the bastard had the balls to ask me how i went in teh exam. He's such a ****ty teacher. (I know everyone blames their teachers for their performance in a subject, but my level of ****tyness at physics really was my teacher's fault - i had an awesome teacher in yr 11 and got As, this year i nearly failed.) Business was my best, which was good cos it was my last, so I finished it all feeling super dooper happy.

Im a qld'er.. im so glad i live here and not in vic doing vce or nsw doing hsc.. we only have our normal subject exams and then the two days of qcs.. seems a lot less than whats involved in the hsc and vce.. but is it harder to get into uni here or there?

What's qcs? We only have our subject exams, so it seems to my happily ignorant mind that you have more exams than us.
