How did you put those pictures in Miggles?When you are writing a post, press this button http://www.schoolies.org.au/forums/images/editor/insertimage.gif and enter the url (full website address of the picture) in the space provided. e.g. http://www.schoolies.org.au/forums/images/editor/insertimage.gif

If you are looking for an image to insert, just use Google Image Search (http://images.google.com.au/) or something like that, it shows you heaps of pictures and the exact url for the picture.

You guys are just for real about what you are doing and what you are on about. It really counts for me that you guys are a charity and are out to protect Schoolies that is so cool. I'm really glad you are there for us and love the site / forum. Like the fact that you tell us when exactly the real schoolies festival is on in different places. You can't trust the places that are selling stuff, but we trust you to cut through all that for us and tell us: this is the real deal... Keep up the great work.

Schoolies.c0m is only one of several hundred ways to book accommodation during Schoolies, nothing more. This is a business.

Schoolies.org.au is referred to as the National Site as it takes a national perspective. This is a non-profit project run by a charity, content by former Schoolies.

Neither are official anything.

In Queensland there is also:

goldcoastschoolies.c0m.au and goldcoastschooliesweek.c0m.au (same site) which are run by the qld premier's department and focuses on gold coast schoolies

and schooliesweek.c0m.au which is run by the qld health department which takes a Queensland perspective.

I hear it's up on notice boards in some schools, and people have been sending emails to their friends to tell them to visit the site. Good stuff ppl, lets get as many schoolies reading the survival guide as possible.

Hey, not sure if you know but if you click on someone's username it brings up a little menu with stuff like send them a Personal Message, View their Profile etc.

If you haven't chosen an Avatar or wanna change your profile or signature in the menu atthe top of the page is 'User CP' which is User Control Pannel - it allows you to do all that stuff.

Another thing that can be updated in your profile is the week you are going to celebrate schoolies..

It would be ahuge help if EVERYONE can enter this into there profile just so others know when ppl are going and can meet up etc :D :D

We just added the field 'Schoolies Dates' last night so pretty please as surfa Sair said please add to what ASIO already has on you and fill in your profile fully.

Yo is there any way to make the avatar size bigger? As in the file size (19.5kb) not the pixel size (120 by 120) or is 19.5kb the limit?

Well yes, but it's fine if you have broardband but it's already slow enough now for those with dial up. So we gotta keep it reasonable as it takes a lot of patience to use dial up when there is heaps of stuff to load. Hope you don't mind but we want everyone to be able to use the forums without waiting all day for 10 avatars per page to load plus all the other gear.

BTW I fully love the pic of Paris Hilton in your sig file. Very sexy. :D

Ok, I'll get onto that next... may as well do the dates for 2005 schoolies week while I'm at it.

So does that mean you have finished school after that last exam and can pissoffski to schoolies? If so, that would make it Sat 13th to Sun 21st of November. Whats the last HSC exam for 2005?

i dont think they make the 2005 hsc timetable this early dom

Nah they don't release the timetable yet, it's usually similar times though.

The last exam is on the 12th and yeah after that you're done, but it depends what subjects you do. A few of my mates have already finished and heaps finish on Monday and Tuesday.

Check this issue of Women's Day if you wanna - Schoolies article. Only thing they didn't mention the website! :banghead: LOL oh well, :p I always say you can't write it for them. Have commented in Vogue before and with all respect to Women's Day, as far as girly mags you can't beat Vogue Magazine. Pretty cool though to get the exposure for our message.
